Very Well made and HOT boot! December 28, 2008 J. Harding (Brooklyn, NY baby!) I got it in Cognac! Quickly became my fav boot. Comfortable and Stylish it can't be beat!
love these boots December 2, 2008 Dag Peters (New York, NY) Gorgeous boots. I read all the reviews before I bought them and was very torn about what size to get. I'm a 7, so I went with 7 and they fit perfectly. They are scuffing up kind of quickly, but probably due to how often I wear them.
i love frye! June 30, 2008 V. Dalpe (Brooklyn, NY) I have bad feet and live in NYC (so I walk everywhere) These are great, I will say though that the color is not what the pictures imply. It is much more tan than gray. I wear them a lot, but am noticing already that the thin straps are wearing a bit at the back, and may need to be fixed by a cobbler soon. Other than that they are wonderful and I am very pleased.
Awesome Boot June 23, 2008 C. Appel (Providence, RI) Very pleased with this boot. I had been eyeing this particular style for awhile and was ecstatic when I found them for this great price! My only caution is that they do run big. I typically wear a size 8 1/2 (sometimes even a size 9) so I ordered an 8 1/2. They were too big and I returned them for a size 8 which will fit perfectly once I wear them in a bit. Though the return process was easy, it was a little stressful wondering if they would still have my size and style. If I were you, and you're between sizes like I am, I would order both and then return one.
Gorgeous Frye boot, may not be for everyone. January 14, 2008 Monika (CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm quickly becoming a huge Frye fan. This is my second pair and the quality and craftmanship is quite remarkable. At this price, one would expect it to be. This low heeled boot is qutie comfortable and yet manages the difficult task of being very stylish as well. I love the straps. I wear a 9M and these ran true to size. There's enough room in the toe box to be comfortable. That being said I need to remark on the unusual width of the top. These are quite wide boots at the top and as you can see in the photo the width runs pretty much straight down to the ankle area. I do not have large calves so these are very loose at the top. They fit me almost like rubber rain boots. I was quite puzzled for a while as to if I liked the look of this boot. I can not wear these with skirts but I bought these mainly to tuck in my jeans which I can do quite comfortably. If you have large calves do not be afraid to give this boot a try. If you have slender legs and are looking for a traditional fit, this may not be the boot for you. In the end, I decided I liked the funky fit and kept them.
