Product Description Be kind to Baby and Mother Earth, too. These reusable Gauze Weave Cloth Diapers from Gerber are woven with many small, fine yarns to produce an extremely soft fabric. Gauze is soft, fast drying and absorbent. Plus, these are fitted with an absorbent pad insert to keep moisture away from Baby's tender skin. Just 2 simple folds and you're ready to diaper. 100% cotton diaper; polyester sponge. Machine washable. Imported. 20-1/2Lx14-1/2W".
Editorial Review These prefolded white diapers are made from 100 percent cotton, in a soft bird's-eye weave, with an absorbent polyester pad inside that runs the length of the central fold. The diapers measure 14.5 by 20.5 inches. Folding instructions are on the package; wash using nonchlorine bleach. --Richard Farr

Diaper? Burp Cloth? Dish Towel? Won't work in my house... May 24, 2008 Fiona Bessey-Bushnell (VA USA) These burp clothes are extremely thin. They are so gauzy that you can see through them, so they won't even work for a game of "peek-a-boo"! These were not thick enough for me to use as a burp cloth, let alone the "premium" diaper it is touted to be. These would not work in our house even as a dish cloth, let alone absorbing any type of baby mess! The only reason I didn't give only a single star is because Gerber was very nice about giving me a refund on these - they guarantee all their products. I just don't think they described accurately what you are getting. They are definitely not the diaper service quality, however, if you don't have 3 different levels of diapers to choose from at your local store, how would you even know that there were different grades of diapers when it says "premium" on the package? They need to be more descriptive in their product packaging. For burp cloths, I prefered the Kooshie baby brand which are very absorbant, very soft and durable as well.
Good quality January 11, 2008 Joy Bell M. Braid Here I am writing a review on cloth diapers I bought when my son was born 6 years ago... I'm happy to report he is no longer in diapers and I'm using these cloth diapers for dusting rags. They are fantastic!
One of the best cloth diapers i have used. December 27, 2005 June Allan (Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Cloth diapers have been around forever, and aside from using cloth diapers on my own children, my grandchildren also wore cloth diapers. These cloth diapers are the diapers all of my daughters still swear by to this day, and I still have some folded up inside the dresser drawer from when I babysat the grand kids at our house. I would definitely recommend these cloth diapers to any mother wanting to diaper the old-fashioned way with diaper pins and rubber pants like my daughters and I did.
This is the worst product ever!!!!!! August 25, 2005 Organic Earth Momma (Columbia, SC) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have never bothered to write a review but I was so totally outraged that I felt I needed to. These diapers came out of the container unusable. They are way too thin to absorb any liquid and the first time I ran them through the washer they came out full of holes. Just terrible. Better to wrap your baby's bottom is sand paper and tissue than these wretched things. Seriously, DON'T BUY THEM!!
Ridiculous diaper scam December 10, 2003 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
These are the most ridiculous diapers I have ever used. They are a downright scam! They are a single layer of thin cotton weave with a polyester pad sewn into the center section. This is supposed to be an absorbant pad, but if you know ANYTHING about polyester you know it absorbs NOTHING! Many All-In-One cloth diapers use polyester fleece covers because it does not absorb liquid, in fact it repells liquid. So these diapers look nice and fluffy, but they are no more absorbant than if you wrap a piece of cheesecloth on your babies bottom. In fact the older style Gerber prefolds were more aborbant, because they at least had some extra CLOTH folded into the center section. These diapers are a plain rip-off. Buy the Gerber Diaper Service diapers for a real cloth diaper, they are 4x4x4 diapers( that means each section of the prefold has 4 layers of cotton in it), all cotton. Don't waste a dime on these! I can't believe Gerber even makes these.
