This butter is very soft as it contains a higher olein content than the west variety, and it’s 100% natural, with no hexane extraction often found in west butter. Due to its anti-elastase properties, this butter diminishes stretch marks, and it’s soft and easy to rub into the skin, making it ideal for pregnant women or those with sensitive skin. Vitamin E and anti-inflammatory properties help to heal burns, eczema and hemorrhoids. Natives in this region are encouraged to preserve the Nilotica Forest of Northern Uganda because the fruit has great economic value to them.
