Does the job July 28, 2008 Joe Average (Lawrence, KS) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Maybe it's because I'm a klutz, but I feel better with the extra guard against scratching/damage. I didn't have any problem applying this additional layer of screen protection. I haven't noticed any negative effect on my iPhone's appearance or operation. It may be a little pricey, but the fit is exact and the adhesive has lasted almost a year so far. Got mine at the Apple Store, so at least they vouch for it to some degree. The "set" contains two covers, so it was effectively half as expensive for our two-iPhone household.
Not a needed product on the iPhone July 24, 2008 T. Tom (SF Bay Area, CA United States) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This screen protector may sound good but in practice you do not need it on the iPhone. The screen on the iPhone is glass and is virtually scratch proof. Further, it feels much better and looks clearer and more crisp without a layer of plastic over it. I also think the auto brightness sensor of the iPhone functions better without a screen protector. The screen protector is also difficult to apply so that it's aligned right and has no dust underneath, even when following the directions exactly. To me, this is a waste of money.
