Product Description Holds up to 150 lbs leaving only a pin size hole! Installs easily by hand Great for mirrors, pictures, shelves and more The Hercules Hook is the easiest way to hang pictures, mirrors, shelves just about anything. Hercules Hooks are easy to install just twist, push and turn! No more drilling or pounding to try to find a stud - No more damaged walls! The reinforced steel design provides the muscle to hang and hold up to 150 lbs. Great for plaster, drywall or paneling. Twist, Push, Turn. Pick a point on the wall where you want the bottom of the hook to sit. Then, measure 1/4" directly above that point and set the tip there. Next, with firm forward pressure, twist the hook back and forth (like a key) until you have chiseled through the wall. Now turn the Hercules Hook upward and push completely into the wall until only the hook is exposed.

Disappointed August 27, 2008 Mel (United States) I was a little disappointed when I purchased this product. I mainly bought them when I had to hang my very heavy mirror. I got the hook in the wall, but then could not turn it where I could anchor it to hang the mirror on it. They give you a lot of these hooks in the pack, but now these hooks just sit in my drawer since I cannot use them. I loved the idea of having a laser marker to hang my pictures straight!
Great and easy to use!! August 19, 2008 S. Villegas (Los Angeles, CA) I was able to hang all my large pictures on the wall all by myself, except for where there was something in the way of the wall like in my bathroom but the rest of the areas worked.
Surprised: Hooks worked as promised. August 10, 2008 D. Bennett Generally I don't expect much from "As seen on TV" products. I expected the hooks to be difficult to push in. I was prepared to use a drill to start the hole if I needed to. The hooks worked as promised. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the "free" laser level did not come on when I put new batteries in it, not that I really needed it. Even without the laser level it was a good deal.
Are the reviews here faked for this mediocre product? August 7, 2008 Ann Arbor Reader (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These hooks do an adequate job with drywall, but they're not especially miraculous or quite as easy as the demonstrations on television. They're not going to prove much more convenient than conventional methods for hanging stuff on walls. And I find it more than a little sketchy that all of the four and five star reviews of this product come from people writing their ONLY amazon review. I think it's pretty clear that representatives from the product are artificially inflating the critiques here. Don't believe the hype.
I tell all my friends about these July 28, 2008 JoJo44 (California) I bought these hooks after seeing an infomercial about them. They are too good to be true. I recommend them to all of my friends. It usually comes up when someone is moving. All of the picture, except one, are hung with these hooks. Even my bathroom towel basket. The heaviest picture I have hanging is only 30 pounds. As much as I love these hooks, I'm not convinced they will hold the 150 lbs claimed on TV ... but I love them for the smaller items I have hanging around the house and they make switching pictures around when I'm bored with them very easy.
