one happy horn player November 23, 2008 David Edwards (Vancouver BC) i haven't played the clarinet since junior high (ahem - 24 years ago) and suddenly got the urge to try it again. i didn't want to spend a lot, but still wanted an instrument that wasn't going to fall apart in a month or two. i'm really happy i decided on the suzuki - it's well-made, nicely finished, and great to play! it has a rich, warm tone and plays in tune through its full range. it was well-packed and arrived in perfect condition. it came with all the accessories necessary and good instructions on assembly, care and maintenance for beginners. couldn't be happier!
Awesome Clarinet for Beginner November 16, 2008 OCMom (Mission Viejo, CA United States) I was extremely impressed with this clarinet. I ordered it for my 5th grader who had never picked up a musical instrument before. I had to help my son put it together the first time as it was a little tight, but by the time he went to his first lesson he was able to assemble it by himself. The very first time he tried to play it, he managed to make a beautiful sound. I can't tell you how impressed (and relieved) I was. I would highly recommend this clarinet. You can't beat the price nor the quality.
QUALITY AT A FAIR PRICE September 5, 2008 J. L. Bongione (Union Dale PA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am retired and purchased this instrument for myself as I always wanted to learn to play the Clarinet. Immediately upon unpacking the instrument I was impressed at the quality and workmanship of the instrument. I have played some basic tunes on it and find it easy to produce a good tone, the sound is nice. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality instrument. Also shipping was prompt and delivery was quick.
clarinet review January 14, 2008 Robert Hoffman (Hudson, NY) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Bought this instrument for my grand-daughter as a Christmas present. Her old one was beyond repair. She was amazed at the ease of use, and the improvement in her playing. Being a second year student she felt that she was not progressing, now knows that it was her old instrument at fault, not her. Sound quality is great although she does not use the full range as of yet.
Good instrument January 13, 2008 C. Iancio 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this instrument for my son, beginner 5-th grade student, it looks and sound good overall. The only problem is kind of hard, need force to put the parts together. I let it assembled for few weeks and this help, compressing the cork make it easy for him to assemble and take apart when need cleaning or transporting to school. Shipping was faster than expected!
