Product Description Prevent Dog attacks! Using the latest Ultrasonic Technology, the Dazer II produces a discomforting but not harmful high powered sound, audible to dogs but not to humans. A great gift idea. Can I hear the Dazer II ? No the sound is in the ultrasonic region but dogs and cats clearly hear it. Generally it works best in the 15 to 20 foot range. Can the Dazer II help stop a dog from barking? Yes, by repeated usage and adding a verbal command (such as "Be Quiet") you may be able to train you dog not to bark. By using the sound and verble command you may be able to train you dog to do many wonderful things.

It is working well December 3, 2008 Garza (Toluca, Mx) Our neighbor's dogs are reacting to the dazer, I need to click 3 or 4 times when they are barking to stop them.. It seems that younger dogs are more sensitive to dazer, some of them start crying... The only problem is that you have to be near the barking dogs to stop them.
does NOT work December 1, 2008 8.5 minutes miler, Phd (San Ramon, CA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
No matter big or small dog, this product just does not do what it claims. Dogs still bark out loud. This dog dazer II is a waste for me, too bad Amazon lets this be on the market with what I consider, a fake ad. I am back to search for one that really works.
Didn't really help November 29, 2008 Diane M (CA) I tried this on 2 dogs--my neighbor's medium-sized dog, and my large dog. They are both less than two years old so should have excellent hearing. My dog does not appear to hear it at all, even from point-blank range. The neighbor's dog definitely heard it, and stopped barking momentarily, the first two or three times I used it on him, but since then doesn't noticeably react. A friend had very good results with the PetSafe birdhouse, which is what caused me to look at the sonic products, but I tried this one instead because it's much cheaper and it's portable. I think I'll break down and buy the birdhouse and see if it works better.
Works most of the time. November 27, 2008 Rev. Mike (Pomona, CA) I'm a residential window cleaner so I get to meet a lot of pets. Most of the time the noisy dogs are next door to the home I'm working on. I've used the Dog Dazer II about 7 times now and some of the dogs hear it and quiet down and some don't. So my results have been mixed. I still like the unit though because when it does work, any relief from these barking dogs is great. However, I'm not so sure I would trust it to stop or even slow down an attack dog unless it had good hearing. My cats must have good hearing because they sure don't like it. The unit is well made and I recommend it even though my experience with it has not been perfect.
dogs dazed November 23, 2008 AB we finally got a chance to use our dog dazer on some troublesome dogs in our area. we agree with some previous reviews that your success rate depends on the age of the dog. the older the dog the less chance you'll get the desired response. overall we're satisfied with the product
