In the late eighties I was an aerobics fanatic. I tried so many different videos it was ridculous. This Jane Fonda work out was the absolute best. I used it for years. I thought it was thorough, covered all the body parts and the results were an overall slimming of the entire body without bulking up any part of my body. During my jogging phase, I noticed that my legs got bulky, which I didn't like. This work out starts with warms ups, aerobics that are intense, floor work to stretch and strengthen legs, tummy and everything else and a good cool down that you are very grateful for. I always felt really good after these workouts and very proud of myself. I am now rededicating myself to a daily workout schedule and the first thing that came to mind was this video. I will start with the beginners version and work myself up to the advanced. It is so good it's almost ridiculous!!

About 5 years ago, I first lost 40 lbs with this video ! It's so easy to do, and it isn't completely straining. I never even moved onto the Advanced stage b/c it was so hard for me, but the weight peeled off all the same. I am praying that this workout tape will be converted to DVD so that I can enjoy it for years to come!

I bought this workout back in the 80's on vinyl. I would put the record on and sweat and work when I was just a teenager. Several years later I had put on weight due to an injury and once again I turned to my trusted friend Jane and was pleased once again with the results. I have tried almost everything out there at some point. But this one will always be my favorite. I just wish they would put it on DVD.

I'm 22 and I STILL Love this workout. My mom used to use it when I was really little and I loved the singing in the workout :-) I prefer DVD to VHS and unfortunately... This one couldnt come along for the change... But a lot of these exercises are spectacular* There are pilates moves in the video that work out your abs, butt and thighs. I still do a lot of these exercises on my own when I feel the new exercise dvds dont hit the spot enough.

GREAT video. EXCELLENT cardio! It'll get you tired if you follow though.

the beg. section has 12 min of cardio. 12 min? that sounds like nothing right? but trust meeee, it will def. get you sweating, esp if you really push yourself and put energy into it.
this video is amazing, as are all of jane fonda's videos. she is sooo movtivating that you want to keep going, even when you cant do it! and her flexibility is just so inspiring. i actually want to do the video every day just so i can get to the point where i am flexible enough to perfectly do all the exersices! also, she doesnt have a boring cool-down at the end. you stretch each body group after it is worked, and cooldown with slower moving exersizes. you end the workout feeling completely refreshed. =)))
